The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wellington Pires might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michel Alvarenga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wellington Pires ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Al-Fajuth defense, Wellington Pires kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michel Alvarenga. The Al-Fajuth fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michel Alvarenga should have stopped the shot. Felipe Capixaba charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Capixaba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Felipe Capixaba kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes, Austra VFC's Maxim Vasilitã shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Michel Alvarenga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Austra VFC reached it. A collision led to Austra VFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ivar Dalman hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Sandro Maciel put in a rough tackle. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Al-Fajuth! Al-Fajuth:s Michel Alvarenga showed great skill when he stopped Wellington Pires:s penalty. After 22 minutes of play, Austra VFC's Wellington Pires made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michel Alvarenga was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute, Wellington Pires left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Austra VFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. The Austra VFC fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Austra VFC's Wellington Pires looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Léo Ortiz's late challenge caught a Austra VFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Léo Ortiz helped the player get up and apologised. Léo Ortiz hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Wellington Pires put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Michel Alvarenga. After a defensive mix-up in Al-Fajuth's zone, Leandro Vianna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Alvarenga came out of the goal and Leandro Vianna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Al-Fajuth defense, Wellington Pires kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michel Alvarenga. The Al-Fajuth fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michel Alvarenga should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Austra VFC's Ivar Dalman got a free kick in the 44th minute. The Al-Fajuth players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Austra VFC were winning 0-8.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wellington Pires made a kick off. If Wellington Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the game, Wellington Pires cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Michel Alvarenga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the match, Wellington Pires dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Michel Alvarenga, 0-10. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper Michel Alvarenga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dorian do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Wellington Pires's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Michel Alvarenga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Wellington Piress short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Michel Alvarenga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Austra VFC's Maxim Vasilitã got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Al-Fajuth's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Pires came free, but Michel Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Wellington Pires had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michel Alvarenga. Al-Fajuth's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wellington Pires was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabrício Brunovskis during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ivar Dalman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Michel Alvarenga. Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Michel Alvarenga came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Austra VFC's Maxim Vasilitã. But to his dismay, Maxim Vasilitã quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. If Wellington Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Austra VFC's Wellington Pires was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 89th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Al-Fajuth's Michel Alvarenga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Al-Fajuth from getting a goal against them. If Wellington Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match was over Austra VFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Al-Fajuth throughout the match.
