The audience thought a goal was coming when Gernando Azevedo got free with Raffael Quiroga in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruy Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wellington Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wellington Pires in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruy Montenegro saved Los Andes FC - FSCMZ from getting behind. In the 9thth minute of the game Wellington Pires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Austra VFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gernando Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Pires in the 34th minute of play forced Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ruy Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. He walked away shaking his head. Ruy Montenegro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivar Dalman's shot from short distance in the 89th minute.
