Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopoldo Azevedo in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Percy Fernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vitinho Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 21 minutes, Leopoldo Azevedo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sport Clube Recife's Percy Fernandez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Risca Faca IMT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robby Woody was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Nilton Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Percy Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilton Passos in the 65th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Leopoldo Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Percy Fernandez was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Vitinho Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter Penha in the 69th minute of play. Percy Fernandez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anders Dannervig showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 71 minute of play. Risca Faca IMT's Elmārs Bevalds was substituted for Leopoldo Azevedo. Percy Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilton Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute Robby Woody shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitinho Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Risca Faca IMT's Zé Augusto Mendonça got a free kick in the 78th minute. Vitinho Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Lampard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
