Valentin Ospetsu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pan Lin Zhen took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Ospetsu. Valentin Ospetsu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. CRUZ DEL SUR's attentive Lech Matela managed to snatch the ball when Juan Luis Potts made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. Valentin Ospetsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pan Lin Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. José Luis Chilavert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iván Luis Zamorano's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪'s Iván Luis Zamorano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Lech Matela made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪'s Juan Jose Peacock. In a very dangerous position, a player in ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! In the 67th minute there was a penalty for CRUZ DEL SUR. Bautista Marcó stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Valentin Ospetsu. 1-4. CRUZ DEL SUR made a substitution. Wiliam Peren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CRUZ DEL SUR made a substitution. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Marco in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Luis Chilavert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A nice corner shot did that Romeo Santa María got away a dangerous shot. Despite this José Luis Chilavert quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CRUZ DEL SUR walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
