Vinos Garland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Macuada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4 minutes into the match, Ipinco's goal looked a bit too open when Efraín Jorge came free, but Abner Villalobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Los Andes Hotspur's goal looked a bit too open when Serafín Berganza came free, but Vinos Garland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute Los Andes Hotspur were awarded a corner. Efraín Jorge went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Los Andes Hotspur's Juan Estevan Maettig to fire away a dangerous shot which Abner Villalobos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Los Andes Hotspur defense, Domingo Macuada kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinos Garland. The Los Andes Hotspur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinos Garland should have stopped the shot. Los Andes Hotspur's Vinos Garland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Poulus Lizana Lezana in the 16th minute of play. Abner Villalobos made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Juan Estevan Maettig sent off a good shot on target. After 18 minutes, Guter Feliu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ipinco and the Los Andes Hotspur players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ipinco's Guter Feliu got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Agustin Osoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute, Efraín Jorge made a precise shot to the right of Abner Villalobos. Ipinco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Vinos Garland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafín Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute Efraín Jorge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abner Villalobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Ipinco's goal looked a bit too open when Efraín Jorge came free, but Abner Villalobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingo Macuada to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Los Andes Hotspur's Juan Estevan Maettig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abner Villalobos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 61st minute Juan Estevan Maettig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abner Villalobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Ipinco's Guter Feliu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Guter Feliu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ipinco protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Guter Feliu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ipinco! Ipinco:s Abner Villalobos showed great skill when he stopped Efraín Jorge:s penalty. Efraín Jorge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abner Villalobos having to interfere. Ipinco's Abner Villalobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Estevan Maettig in the 72nd minute of play. The referee ignored Ipinco's protests and gave Klaes Farfara a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes Ipinco got a freekick which was hit by Klaes Farfara. Agustin Osoro's late challenge caught a Ipinco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agustin Osoro helped the player get up and apologised. Agustin Osoro kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Los Andes Hotspur's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
