An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinos Warner in the 18th minute of play forced Ballet Azul's goalkeeper Gino Tonić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Ibar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Gino Tonić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Ibar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Gino Tonić made a huge save. In the 29th minute, Pepe Rojas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
