An unnecessary self made goal, 1-3 in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, General Velásquez's Renato Goycolea got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Johnny Van Havent's late challenge caught a General Velásquez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henry Tucknott was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 94 minutes, Leandro Pfingsthorn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. General Velásquez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Pfingsthorn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched General Velásquez eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
