Tamariz Saul was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tamariz Saul came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by General Velásquez's Renato Goycolea. But to his dismay, Renato Goycolea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-14. Disappointed in the 0-14 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Luciano Duguid notched a goal, 0-15, to the right of Shohoku FC's Tamariz Saul. Tamariz Saul was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Shohoku FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Quintán Garland hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Estevan Camilo in the 83rd minute of play forced Shohoku FC's goalkeeper Tamariz Saul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Shohoku FC's Estevan Clavijo got a free kick in the 84th minute. Tamariz Saul was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leandro Pfingsthorn showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-21 in the 85 minute of play. Tamariz Saul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Estevan Camilo in the 88th minute of play.
