The corner was taken by 庄昂坚 in the 39th minute. 庄昂坚's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ádám Veress read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Tala Bosques del Jaure booed when Deportivo Damasco F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifaco Montoya didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tiadoro Cores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
