The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Leizaur got free with Eufrasio Vall in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th match minute, Montevideo City Torque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alkestis Papadopulos to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute of the match Lartaun Carrandi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christophe Troxler showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Christophe Troxler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 14 minutes Montevideo City Torque's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lartaun Carrandi who took care of the corner kick. Lartaun Carrandi made a great header on Mariolo's corner, it was just that Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler managed to reach the ball for a save. Eufrasio Vall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Álvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Cristian Leizaur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lartaun Carrandi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Christophe Troxler made a huge save. Christophe Troxler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lartaun Carrandi in the 91st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vicemte Ocejo during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Montevideo City Torque made a substitution.
