Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fred Åkerström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiadoro Cores in the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Playa Malvín's Jabier Igual got a free kick in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fred Åkerström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiadoro Cores in the 77th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fred Åkerström took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Avram Popoiu. Zé Roberto Teixeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Montxo Cabero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
