After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Patricio Mannuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Mannuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hoyt Cormier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Krzysztof Sanocki sped through Fenerbahçe S.K.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hoyt Cormier. Cx fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Colombain Parham should have stopped the shot. Gilberto Fremont could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Colombain Parham made a huge save. In the 77th minute, Patricio Mannuel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hoyt Cormier was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Krzysztof Sanocki's late challenge caught a Fenerbahçe S.K.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Krzysztof Sanocki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Krzysztof Sanocki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Mannuel came free, but Hoyt Cormier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute of the match, Krzysztof Sanocki got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hoyt Cormier was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 95th minute of the match Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx got a corner. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Manfred Skarkman ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Fenerbahçe S.K. lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
