Galatic Dragons's Émilien Arrington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Niva in the 4th minute of play. Santana Armada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Vierchowod in the 10th minute of the match. 白海政 kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Róbson Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Émilien Arrington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donny Van De Beeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Santana Armada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tad Rivière hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 20th match minute, Vancouver Reds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Tate to maneuver through the defense. Santana Armada acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nelson Hoover. Émilien Arrington came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vancouver Reds's Saverio Niva. But to his dismay, Saverio Niva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, Galatic Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Wágner Recife came free, but Émilien Arrington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franklyn Nelson kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Galatic Dragons's zone, Róbson Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Émilien Arrington came out of the goal and Róbson Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes into the match, Saverio Niva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Émilien Arrington. Galatic Dragons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saverio Niva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The audience was convinced that Saverio Niva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Émilien Arrington was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Saverio Niva took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Émilien Arrington. Émilien Arrington dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alessandro Vierchowod was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Galatic Dragons's Émilien Arrington got control of the ball when Saverio Niva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Émilien Arrington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbson Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Galatic Dragons's Émilien Arrington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Niva in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute Vancouver Reds were awarded a corner. Róbson Queirós went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Saverio Niva drilling the ball in to score 0-5 behind Galatic Dragons's goalkeeper. In the 67th minute of the match, Cameron Leary tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Émilien Arrington saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 68th minute, one of Vancouver Reds:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vancouver Reds. 73 minutes into the match, Róbson Queirós had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Émilien Arrington. Galatic Dragons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Róbson Queirós was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. In the 79th minute of the match, Cameron Leary tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Émilien Arrington saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Galatic Dragons's Émilien Arrington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cameron Leary in the 80th minute of play. Cameron Leary fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Émilien Arrington having to interfere. Vancouver Reds made a substitution. Quinton Marcheterre replaced Wiliam Xavier. After 87 minutes, Saverio Niva made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Galatic Dragons's Émilien Arrington tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Cameron Leary took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Émilien Arrington to make any attempt to save it. Errol Lim hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Émilien Arrington came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Vancouver Reds's Saverio Niva. But to his dismay, Saverio Niva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. The Galatic Dragons fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vancouver Reds were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
