Hoyt Cormier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derrick Osborne in the 9th minute of play. Marshrose's attentive Bernardo Bourgouin managed to snatch the ball when Sherman Eldridge made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. In the 17th minute Sherman Eldridge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Royce Rodriquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vadim Izvoreanu's late challenge caught a Marshrose's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vadim Izvoreanu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Fenerbahçe S.K. getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Vadim Izvoreanu hit a great ball. Derrick Osborne struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Hoyt Cormier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marshrose. In the 32nd minute, Charlie Blevins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Royce Rodriquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Fremont, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Royce Rodriquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Fremont, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Xiao Yun Jun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Derrick Osborne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hoyt Cormier having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Marshrose's Derrick Osborne got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Derrick Osborne was the one to do the kick off. Eloi Christopher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hoyt Cormier having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Charles Griggs made a precise shot to the right of Hoyt Cormier. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Derrick Osborne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hoyt Cormier having to interfere. Marshrose's Royce Rodriquez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Marshrose from getting a goal against them. 63 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Xiao Yun Jun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Royce Rodriquez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st match minute, Marshrose was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cruz Chartré to maneuver through the defense. Qiao Qi Bo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Royce Rodriquez having to interfere. Royce Rodriquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xiao Yun Jun in the 81st minute of play. Fenerbahçe S.K. were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Marshrose's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vadim Izvoreanu took the corner. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Xiao Yun Jun got a free kick in the 84th minute. When Gilberto Fremont came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Fenerbahçe S.K. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Fremont couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Fenerbahçe S.K. getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Gilberto Fremont hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute Derrick Osborne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hoyt Cormier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barney Kohler kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloi Christopher in the 95th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe S.K.'s goalkeeper Hoyt Cormier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
