Marshrose's Royce Rodriquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Chap in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia Denver's goal looked a bit too open when Eloi Christopher came free, but Eric Gary reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If 蔡伟洲 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Royce Rodriquez made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Michal Majdoch sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Jagiellonia Denver's Viorel Olaru was substituted for Domenic Marsh. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Derrick Osborne to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Jagiellonia Denver got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Garreau. After 53 played minutes, Marshrose's Julio Kearney shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eric Gary came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Jagiellonia Denver's Nicolae Costa was substituted for Isaias Grove. The supporters of Jagiellonia Denver booed when Marshrose was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Griggs didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Jagiellonia Denver's Nicolae Costa got a free kick in the 76th minute. Jagiellonia Denver's Eric Gary proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Jagiellonia Denver from getting a goal against them. Royce Rodriquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolae Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Royce Rodriquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacá Čačak in the 85th minute of the match. Cacá Čačak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rodrigo Chap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marshrose succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Jagiellonia Denver had controlled the match.
