In the 5th minute, Antwan Gallagher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chauncey Holland was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 14thth minute of the game Norberto Beckman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DOE FC's Kirk Lafond was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Marquis Frank dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Chauncey Holland, 3-0. Marquis Frank could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Chauncey Holland made a huge save. Kirk Lafond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Beckman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chauncey Holland was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Antwan Gallagher capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Antwan Gallagher really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Inter 1908 Milan's Chauncey Holland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Brochu in the 33rd minute of play. Norberto Beckman took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kirk Lafond. Kirk Lafond dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Robin Welsh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Antwan Gallagher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kirk Lafond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Beckman in the 42nd minute of play. David Brochu kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Robin Welsh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Kirk Lafond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Norberto Beckman was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Jospeh Heller could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Kirk Lafond however easily saved by the left post. Robin Welsh struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Kirk Lafond didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter 1908 Milan. In the 56th minute, David Brochu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DOE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. In the 58th minute, Andreas Johnson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 61 minutes on the clock, Andreas Johnson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Tyler Bowser placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 65 minutes into the match, Antwan Gallagher had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chauncey Holland. Inter 1908 Milan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antwan Gallagher was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. After 88 minutes of play, DOE FC's David Brochu made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chauncey Holland was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chauncey Holland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johnie Loiselle went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. DOE FC's Kirk Lafond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Welsh in the 95th minute of play. The supporters of DOE FC booed when Inter 1908 Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Dunn didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Brochu struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Chauncey Holland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DOE FC. DOE FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
