Las Terrenas's Isidoro Balboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Jehlička in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Las Terrenas booed when Club Atlético Lea Papá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Donose didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 minutes of play, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Alvar Ponce made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 30th minute Anton Donose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Balboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidoro Balboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The coaching staff of Las Terrenas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bonifacio Yáñez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Club Atlético Lea Papá booed when Las Terrenas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Yáñez didn't get a good kick on the ball.
