With his leg Cipriano Virila managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when ΛΞΥΛ's Mihail Novac fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Iskandar Seng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Beltran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaffar Bozok fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Virila having to interfere. After 42 played minutes FC Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Beltran. After some careless play in the ΛΞΥΛ defense, Güray Altunışık kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iskandar Seng. The ΛΞΥΛ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iskandar Seng should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 76th minute Gaffar Bozok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Virila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Gaffar Bozok left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ΛΞΥΛ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Iskandar Seng successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 90 minutes, Errol Ogunbanke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Nacional and the ΛΞΥΛ players grew even worse after the yellow card.
