Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jonathan Laronde made the kick off which started today's match. If Natasha Badree had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, El Dorado's goal looked a bit too open when Raffique Mannette came free, but Darryl Ramdin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Chaguanas Strikers's Standiford String Band in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Dorado's goalie prevented a goal. In the 17th minute, André Sinanan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlyle de Boissièrre took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Clyde Chambers. Chaguanas Strikers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Standiford String Band in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Darryl Ramdin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21stth minute of the game Standiford String Band who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Dorado's Darryl Ramdin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Dorado's goalkeeper Darryl Ramdin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th match minute, Chaguanas Strikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natasha Persaud to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Billy Chancellor got free with Clyde Chambers in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Standiford String Band had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, El Dorado's William Greenidge got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Chaguanas Strikers's Standiford String Band in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Dorado's goalie prevented a goal. Darryl Ramdin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natasha Badree, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Darryl Ramdin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Standiford String Band, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The wind increased when Standiford String Band made the kick off in the second half. In the 59thth minute of the game Standiford String Band who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Dorado's Darryl Ramdin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 62 played minutes El Dorado got a freekick which was hit by Charles Thompson. Standiford String Band did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Darryl Ramdin 64 minutes into the match. Standiford String Band in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Darryl Ramdin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 78 played minutes El Dorado got a freekick which was hit by Charles Thompson. After 80 minutes, Standiford String Band made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. El Dorado's Darryl Ramdin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Natasha Badree could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Darryl Ramdin made a huge save. In the 93rd minute, Delon Betancourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clyde Chambers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Thompson, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Chaguanas Strikers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
