Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jonathan Laronde kicked off to start the match. Standiford String Bands short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Darryl Ramdin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in El Dorado's zone, Raffique Mannette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darryl Ramdin came out of the goal and Raffique Mannette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Standiford String Band in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darryl Ramdin saved El Dorado from getting behind. After a rather tough play, El Dorado's Charles Thompson got a free kick in the 8th minute. The audience was convinced that Standiford String Band's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Darryl Ramdin was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Clyde Chambers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Laronde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raffique Mannette in the 18th minute of play forced El Dorado's goalkeeper Darryl Ramdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, El Dorado's goalkeeper Darryl Ramdin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krishna Bednob. After having played for 21 minutes, Standiford String Band managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chaguanas Strikers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Standiford String Band was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Darryl Ramdin managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Chaguanas Strikers's Standiford String Band fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Standiford String Band sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Darryl Ramdin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Leslie in the 29th minute of the match. Standiford String Band recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Standiford String Band had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Krishna Bednob hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Brian Chadee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Dorado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brian Chadee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 40 played minutes Standiford String Band could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 2-0 into the left cross. In the 43rdth minute of the game Standiford String Band who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Dorado's Darryl Ramdin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 44 played minutes El Dorado got a freekick which was hit by Gerald Shakes. Standiford String Band kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Standiford String Band scored 3-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Darryl Ramdin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Standiford String Band was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Chaguanas Strikers booed when El Dorado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Greenidge didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, Standiford String Band got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to El Dorado getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Billy Chancellor hit a great ball. After 59 played minutes El Dorado got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Laronde. In the 60th minute of the match Raffique Mannette shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Darryl Ramdin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Charles Thompson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Clyde Chambers made a huge save. In the 74th minute, Jonathan Laronde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, Billy Chancellor made a precise shot to the right of Clyde Chambers. Chaguanas Strikers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Charles Thompson managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Dorado's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Thompson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clyde Chambers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Standiford String Band in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darryl Ramdin saved El Dorado from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Standiford String Band in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Darryl Ramdin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clyde Chambers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Laronde, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Chaguanas Strikers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
