Kazimierz Traczewski took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter Steele. Peter Steele dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Joey Tribbiani took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Peter Steele to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jack Lukas in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baykan Erincer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Peter Steele got control of the ball when Garth Burrell tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute, Jack Lukas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PALMEIRAS-UTAH fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Baykan Erincer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandru Eugen, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Khairil Swee kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Baykan Erincer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandru Eugen's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Baykan Erincer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Renato Correia was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO! The referee gave PALMEIRAS-UTAH a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vincent Sandström, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Baykan Erincer. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joey Tribbiani in the 45th minute of play forced PALMEIRAS-UTAH's goalkeeper Peter Steele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Garth Burrell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Peter Steele. The goal made the score 3-2. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Bailey Kerns was substituted for Jack Lukas. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandru Eugen to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joey Tribbiani in the 54th minute of play forced PALMEIRAS-UTAH's goalkeeper Peter Steele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandru Eugen came free, but Baykan Erincer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute of the match PALMEIRAS-UTAH got a corner. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vincent Sandström ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luis Livingston was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 61st minute Erik Huang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Steele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Baykan Erincer got control of the ball when Jorge Pirani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peter Steele stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Garth Burrell's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Garth Burrell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Steele. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Garth Burrell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Mason Garland was substituted for Joey Tribbiani. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO fully deserved thier win.
