With a couple of smart ball manuevers Riley Trotter in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Steele saved PALMEIRAS-UTAH from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Creekers's Peter Steele threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Riley Trotter, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Creekers's Bryant Miles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Lukas in the 6th minute of play. After 8th play minutes Ladislao Gines shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Peter Steele and just under the crossbar into goal. Riley Trotters short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Peter Steele to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Creekers were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after PALMEIRAS-UTAH's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saverio Vistruario took the corner. Xavier Salazar made a great header on Creekers's corner, it was just that PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Peter Steele managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Pirani in the 15th minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Bryant Miles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Steele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riley Trotter in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Alexandru Eugen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bryant Miles was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 27th minute Jack Lukas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryant Miles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Riley Trotter in the 38th minute of play forced PALMEIRAS-UTAH's goalkeeper Peter Steele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Steele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Gines in the 40th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Ladislao Gines ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Steele was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Jack Lukas scored 2-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bryant Miles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bryant Miles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandru Eugen, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After 46 minutes, Sylvesteri Valkama mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Creekers and the PALMEIRAS-UTAH players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sylvesteri Valkama hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bailey Kerns stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Bailey Kerns kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bryant Miles. That made the score 2-2 in the 54 minute of play. Bryant Miles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Pirani in the 57th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Alexandru Eugen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bryant Miles. The goal made the score 2-3. In the 74th minute Riley Trotter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Steele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Creekers's Johnathan Douglas was substituted for William Kerns. If Alexandru Eugen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the game, Riley Trotter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Peter Steele was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. PALMEIRAS-UTAH made a substitution. Ace Gallardo replaced Casey Blanton. In the 89th minute Ladislao Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Steele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Riley Trotter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Creekers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. When Ace Gallardo fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PALMEIRAS-UTAH's protests and gave Ace Gallardo a yellow card for diving instead. After 97 played minutes PALMEIRAS-UTAH got a freekick which was hit by Ace Gallardo. Creekers's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
