The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valentim Azpe made in the 5th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Pasqual Pacheco. When Obrero Barquisimeto's Joel Gargollo in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TUCANES FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliu Baez in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Volker Ippig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joel Gargollo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 played minutes TUCANES FC got a freekick which was hit by Feliu Baez. The crowd rose to their feet as Obrero Barquisimeto's Joel Gargollo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Cabalar. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. Daniel Cabalar made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Joel Gargollo sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Daniel Cabalar managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Obrero Barquisimeto's Joel Gargollo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Obrero Barquisimeto fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Obrero Barquisimeto's Joel Gargollo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Serafino Pestaña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Obrero Barquisimeto's Joel Gargollo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Cabalar. That made the score 5-0 after 47 minutes of play.

The wind increased when Feliu Baez made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Obrero Barquisimeto's Joel Gargollo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Cabalar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Joel Gargollo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gargollo in the 58th minute of play forced TUCANES FC's goalkeeper Daniel Cabalar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Joel Gargollo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TUCANES FC's Daniel Cabalar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, TUCANES FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gargollo came free, but Daniel Cabalar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Joel Gargollo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Cabalar. TUCANES FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gargollo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. TUCANES FC's Daniel Cabalar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gomesano Marichal in the 73rd minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Gomesano Marichal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Daniel Cabalar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 77 minutes, Valentim Azpe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TUCANES FC and the Obrero Barquisimeto players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th match minute, TUCANES FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentim Azpe to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Cabalar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feo Cadorniga in the 79th minute of the match. Daniel Cabalar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gomesano Marichal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Valentim Azpe in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Obrero Barquisimeto's Richie Vasaburu. 85 minutes into the match, TUCANES FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gomesano Marichal came free, but Daniel Cabalar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Cabalar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gomesano Marichal, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Valentim Azpe got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Pasqual Pacheco. Daniel Cabalar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gomesano Marichal in the 91st minute of play. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Gomesano Marichal sped through TUCANES FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daniel Cabalar. Obrero Barquisimeto's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
