After 23 minutes Mz Moms FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gabirel Caceo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Atlético de Caracas's Maxim Cernei getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Rafael Dudamel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aires Laguno, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Adalberto Rascuro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But to his dismay, Severino Regueiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Atlético de Caracas's Matai Larrañaga was substituted for Gabirel Caceo. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severino Regueiro was the one to do the kick off. Marquinhos Mønster hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 55 played minutes Mz Moms FC got a freekick which was hit by Severino Regueiro. Atay Türegün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Regueiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Cernei in the 79th minute of play forced Mz Moms FC's goalkeeper Rafael Dudamel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Salomon Besora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mz Moms FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Salomon Besora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atay Türegün breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the match, Atlético de Caracas's goalkeeper Atay Türegün had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Regis Santander. Mz Moms FC's Rafael Dudamel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janes Gobbelijns in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Atlético de Caracas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Lluc to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 92 minutes, Salomon Besora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mz Moms FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salomon Besora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Atlético de Caracas fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Atlético de Caracas's Maxim Cernei looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
