With a little luck, Ya Perdimos F.C.'s Paulo Duarte got control of the ball when Bras Pavieta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Calixto Cobian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faron Castrejana in the 36th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charro Dieguez to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match New Galaxy Szans got a corner. Ya Perdimos F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. In the 57th minute Bernaldo Torrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, New Galaxy Szans's goal looked a bit too open when Urritz Cugurulls came free, but Calixto Cobian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 minutes of play, New Galaxy Szans's Xepe Enebro made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernaldo Torrez couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute Bernaldo Torrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calixto Cobian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Saramago, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. José Saramago's late challenge caught a New Galaxy Szans's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Saramago helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee ended the match the New Galaxy Szans players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
