Pero Falla started the match with the kick off. Edwin van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andries De Putter in the 9th minute of the match. Lei Bin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pero Falla, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andries De Putter in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edwin van der Sar saved ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pero Falla in the 18th minute of play forced United FC's goalkeeper Lei Bin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Andries De Putter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edwin van der Sar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Andries De Putter scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edwin van der Sar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edwin van der Sar came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by United FC's Andries De Putter. But to his dismay, Andries De Putter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Iliana Seseña hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Rogelio Herrasti was substituted for Pero Falla. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andries De Putter was the one to do the kick off. Andries De Putter struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Edwin van der Sar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for United FC. If Nalo Loaisa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. United FC's Andries De Putter got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Hori Guillemez was substituted for Noel Guerrero. Florentino Cervera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Iliana Seseña in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by United FC's Fryderyk Maurycy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andries De Putter in the 87th minute of play forced ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched United FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
