Krišjānis Ābeļnieks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Macías in the 21st minute of play forced Barcelona de América's goalkeeper Alfred Kochowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barcelona de América's Alfred Kochowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Macías in the 21st minute of play. Alfred Kochowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Macías, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Krišjānis Ābeļnieks in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Cabrero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th match minute, Azul Y Plomo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Diniz to maneuver through the defense. Krišjānis Ābeļnieks blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zacarias Cabrero having to make a save. The Azul Y Plomo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barcelona de América were winning 0-1.

Barcelona de América were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Azul Y Plomo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Parisi Queduro took the corner. Lorenzo Viergol's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zacarias Cabrero firmly grabbed it by the left post. 86 minutes into the match, Barcelona de América's goal looked a bit too open when Hector-Luis Arzola came free, but Alfred Kochowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
