The crowd rose to their feet as Patricio Igartua kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vitor Araso. That made the score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. Patricio Igartua hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, CD Chinangachi's goal looked a bit too open when Alex França came free, but Vitor Araso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandrinho Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. España Gilavert was the one to do the kick off. FC Philotimo's Alexandro Gavilanes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Philotimo from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Vime in the 69th minute of play forced CD Chinangachi's goalkeeper Vitor Araso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Philotimo's goalkeeper Alexandro Gavilanes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Xano Correa could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Alexandro Gavilanes however easily saved by the left post. Xano Correa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Alexandro Gavilanes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 84th minute, Urre Grandoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CD Chinangachi's Vitor Araso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xeromo Garibay in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex França in the 90th minute of play forced CD Chinangachi's goalkeeper Vitor Araso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
