After 8 minutes CON-E-CO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antonio Florian who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Baki Lebib in the 10th minute of play forced Atlético Grau Piura's goalkeeper Calixto Inchaurdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético Grau Piura's Rosario Martel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nilson Peres. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. Calixto Inchaurdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yakup Kadri Hazret, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calixto Inchaurdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamiel Stessel in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, CON-E-CO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oğuzcan Yaren to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, CON-E-CO's Nilson Peres got control of the ball when Huly Larrauri tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Huly Larrauri got free with Nilson Peres in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Huly Larrauri in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilson Peres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Rosario Martel took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Nilson Peres to make any attempt to save it. Yakup Kadri Hazret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kamiel Stessel to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Atlético Grau Piura's goal looked a bit too open when Kamiel Stessel came free, but Calixto Inchaurdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Baki Lebib took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Calixto Inchaurdi. Calixto Inchaurdi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Conrado Guter hit a great ball. Atlético Grau Piura's Antonio Cugini was substituted for Conrado Guter. Atlético Grau Piura's Sergio Agüero was substituted for Hamza Emin. After 74 played minutes Atlético Grau Piura got a freekick which was hit by Xinaro Magarinos. Nilson Peres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Huly Larrauri went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Sergio Agüero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Peres having to interfere.
