The audience was convinced that Jorrin Briones's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tartalo Delatorre was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Many of Rapsodas Red Devils FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Rapsodas Red Devils FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Atlético Grau Piura were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
