Yu Yu Chen hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute of the game Federico Moura made a throw-in which Yu Yu Chen played forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Billie Hoes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Grau Piura's supporters rose to their feet, but Billie Hoes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Forsyth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tartalo Delatorre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 15th minute of the match. After 15 minutes of play, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tartalo Delatorre was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yu Yu Chen's late challenge caught a CD Municipal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yu Yu Chen helped the player get up and apologised. Atlético Grau Piura's Andoni Ascarza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Yunus Mahşer in the 25 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billie Hoes in the 26th minute of play forced CD Municipal's goalkeeper George Forsyth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes CD Municipal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ignado Ozores who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Atlético Grau Piura's corner Federico Moura fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and George Forsyth quite easily take care of the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Martino Armona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Tartalo Delatorre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Cassaretto in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tartalo Delatorre saved Atlético Grau Piura from getting behind. CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billie Hoes in the 40th minute of play. Tartalo Delatorre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Cassaretto went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 45 minutes into the match, Atlético Grau Piura's goal looked a bit too open when Martino Armona came free, but Tartalo Delatorre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yu Yu Chen hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 51st minute, Peter Haber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. George Forsyth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billie Hoes, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Atlético Grau Piura's Tartalo Delatorre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martino Armona in the 55th minute of play. Martino Armona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atlético Grau Piura's Tartalo Delatorre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryota Miyagi in the 69th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Atlético Grau Piura's goalkeeper Tartalo Delatorre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oalo Dean. A nice corner shot did that Călin Morovan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tartalo Delatorre quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to CD Municipal getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Iacob Roman hit a great ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Ryota Miyagi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Municipal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryota Miyagi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yunus Mahşer made in the 87th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ryota Miyagi. In the 88th minute, Iacob Roman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90thth minute of the game Wojciech Pyrtek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Municipal's George Forsyth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. CD Municipal's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
