Nicu Alexandrescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilson Peres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicu Alexandrescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Nilson Peres made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Nicu Alexandrescu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicu Alexandrescu in the 24th minute of play forced CON-E-CO's goalkeeper Nilson Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilson Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicu Alexandrescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Yakup Kadri Hazret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Kamiel Stessel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paul Ramon. That made the score 0-1 in the 83 minute of play.
