Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orlando Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zico Zellier in the 7th minute of play. Sven-Edvin Jansson scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orlando Machado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rafael Aguirrez's late challenge caught a GuateFortín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Aguirrez helped the player get up and apologised. Rafael Aguirrez kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Zico Zellier took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orlando Machado. Orlando Machado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Zico Zellier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Orlando Machado. That made the score 3-0 in the 18 minute of play. In the 22nd minute, GuateFortín's Zico Zellier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Orlando Machado. Orlando Machado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. The audience was convinced that Zico Zellier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orlando Machado was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Ortiz in the 29th minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The GuateFortín fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when GuateFortín's Zico Zellier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 33 minutes into the match, FIFI CLUB ™'s goalkeeper Orlando Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zico Zellier. In the 35th minute, Máximo Perrone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orlando Machado was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Ancheta in the 38th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zico Zellier got free with Orlando Machado in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Máximo Perrone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Machado having to interfere. In the 44th minute Máximo Perrone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Máximo Perrone made a kick off. Orlando Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Máximo Perrone struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Orlando Machado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GuateFortín. In the 62nd minute, Máximo Perrone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. GuateFortín's Mario Gomez was substituted for Roberto Trotta. FIFI CLUB ™'s Orlando Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 67th minute of play. Camilo Salguero charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Salguero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FIFI CLUB ™ getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Camilo Salguero hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Máximo Perrone left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GuateFortín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. After 79 minutes of play, GuateFortín's Máximo Perrone made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orlando Machado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Orlando Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máximo Perrone in the 83rd minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, FIFI CLUB ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Perrone came free, but Orlando Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GuateFortín's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Claudio Cerritos in the 93rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Claudio Cerritos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Orlando Machado quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the referee ended the match the GuateFortín players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
