Ahmet Efe Suheyl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elias Leiva having to make a save. Ahmet Efe Suheyl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Elias Leiva made a huge save. Ahmet Efe Suheyl struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Elias Leiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Juniors. Guatitlan's Elias Leiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 6th minute of play. Ahmet Efe Suheyl who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Elias Leiva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 16 minutes into the game, Real Juniors's Ahmet Efe Suheyl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elias Leiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The Real Juniors fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Real Juniors's Ahmet Efe Suheyl looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Guatitlan's goalkeeper Elias Leiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Salvador Vasquez kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match Claudio Cabrera sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elias Leiva skillfully saved the ball. Real Juniors's attentive Claudio Cabrera managed to snatch the ball when Rafael Batres made a throw-in in the 27th minute of the game. Ahmet Efe Suheyls short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Elias Leiva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Real Juniors's Ahmet Efe Suheyl got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guatitlan's Elias Leiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Guatitlan from getting a goal against them. Elias Leiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Iigo to make the kick off. Real Juniors's Christian Carballo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Real Juniors from getting a goal against them. Elias Leiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 55th minute of play forced Guatitlan's goalkeeper Elias Leiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Rafael Batres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guatitlan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Juniors the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Guatitlan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Real Juniors:s goal. Thanks to some nice moves Juan Iigo could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Christian Carballo however easily saved by the left post. After 63 played minutes Guatitlan got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Batres. Ahmet Efe Suheyl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 64th minute Ahmet Efe Suheyl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Leiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Batres kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Roland Redondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 minutes of play, Real Juniors's Ahmet Efe Suheyl made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Leiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Real Juniors's attentive Denis Ilinca managed to snatch the ball when Rafael Batres made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. Juan Iigo took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Carballo. Christian Carballo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Guatitlan made a substitution. Ricardo Gareca replaced Andre Fontoria. Guatitlan's Carlitos Bianchi was substituted for Juan Iigo. Guatitlan made a substitution. Edmundson Paddle replaced Reino Lundell. Elias Leiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Efe Suheyl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edmundson Paddle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 minutes of play, Real Juniors's Ahmet Efe Suheyl made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Efe Suheyl might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias Leiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Efe Suheyl ran back to his position shaking his head. Elias Leiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Efe Suheyl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Leiva came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Juniors's Ahmet Efe Suheyl. But to his dismay, Ahmet Efe Suheyl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Real Juniors's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
