The referee showed Danilo Huezo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Danilo Huezo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 35 minutes of play, Avebury's Max Machado made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waldir Oporto was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee felt a red card was in order, 43 minutes into the game, when Franklin Pinho put in a rough tackle. 43 minutes into the game, one of CF Deportivo Ramón:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Max Machado was the one to do the kick off. CF Deportivo Ramón's Waldir Oporto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovani Chavez in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Giovani Chavez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waldir Oporto was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Waldir Castillo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Max Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Waldir Oporto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
