A throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game was made by Alex Doe with Nuralp Başdemir as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Baron Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Zapolski in the 6th minute of play. After some careless play in the Los Muñes de Don Cuco defense, Andrzej Zapolski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baron Buffon. The Los Muñes de Don Cuco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baron Buffon should have stopped the shot. Lu Zhen Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Cordeiro in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Nuralp Başdemir notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of DREAM TEAM WORLD's Lu Zhen Sheng. Lu Zhen Sheng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Huang Zhan Xuan got a free kick in the 21st minute. When Luiz Fabiano Castro came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the DREAM TEAM WORLD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fabiano Castro couldn't finish the play. Baron Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Zapolski in the 32nd minute of play. Andrzej Zapolski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baron Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Baron Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Zapolski in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute DREAM TEAM WORLD were awarded a corner. Luiz Fabiano Castro went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuralp Başdemir in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lu Zhen Sheng saved DREAM TEAM WORLD from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuralp Başdemir made a kick off. After 54 minutes Los Muñes de Don Cuco's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luiz Fabiano Castro who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Luiz Fabiano Castro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Baron Buffon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Baron Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Zapolski in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, Los Muñes de Don Cuco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Rien Oss sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lu Zhen Sheng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guaberto Jacindo came free in the 74th minute and tried to tip the ball over Lu Zhen Sheng, but to the joy of DREAM TEAM WORLD's supporters the ball went over. Baron Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís Lessard in the 77th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Lu Zhen Sheng threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rien Oss, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 80th minute of the match Los Muñes de Don Cuco got a corner. DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guaberto Jacindo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Guaberto Jacindo made a great header on Los Muñes de Don Cuco's corner, it was just that DREAM TEAM WORLD's Lu Zhen Sheng managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 88th minute, Aureliano Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Alex Doe got a free kick in the 89th minute. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Baron Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luís Lessard in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Muñes de Don Cuco's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luiz Fabiano Castro was slow to take the kick. During this time DREAM TEAM WORLD's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Luiz Fabiano Castro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Baron Buffon did a great save. Baron Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Luís Lessard went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los Muñes de Don Cuco players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for DREAM TEAM WORLD.
