When Venancio Hernando fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barbudos FC's protests and gave Venancio Hernando a yellow card for diving instead. Venancio Hernando hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 30thth minute of the game Gerardo Tabardillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barbudos FC's Zdzislaw Slazak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
