Lu Zhen Sheng came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Equipo's Mehat Kovaçi. But to his dismay, Mehat Kovaçi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 14th minute Andrzej Zapolski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Furman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrzej Zapolski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Andrzej Zapolski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael Furman having to make a save. The supporters of Equipo booed when DREAM TEAM WORLD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horea Mihoc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mehat Kovaçi might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lu Zhen Sheng. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehat Kovaçi ran back to his position shaking his head. Andrzej Zapolski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Furman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Unai Papachronopoulos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lu Zhen Sheng having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Equipo's Javier Aguirre got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute Andrzej Zapolski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Furman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Lu Zhen Sheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save DREAM TEAM WORLD from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrzej Zapolski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andrzej Zapolski might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Furman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrzej Zapolski ran back to his position shaking his head. 51 minutes into the match, Equipo's goalkeeper Ismael Furman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrzej Zapolski. Andrzej Zapolski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael Furman having to make a save. Ismael Furman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Zapolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Betinho de Queirós made in the 55th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Andrzej Zapolski immediately put the ball in play. In the 68th minute Bruno Beugnet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lu Zhen Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Andrzej Zapolski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Furman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. DREAM TEAM WORLD's André Luís Lessard was substituted for Andrzej Zapolski. DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. Paulo Jon replaced Héctor Adomaitis. After 94th play minutes Bruno Beugnet shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Lu Zhen Sheng and just under the crossbar into goal. Equipo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
