An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernie Butterfield in the 4th minute of play forced PEPE United's goalkeeper Filomeno Jerico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Grant Bundy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Jerico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bulahdelah FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Clark Yard hit a great ball. When Quincy Dobson fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PEPE United's protests and gave Quincy Dobson a yellow card for diving instead. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Grant Bundy sped through PEPE United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Filomeno Jerico. Quincy Shortis kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Russ Devine hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Grant Bundy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bulahdelah FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Grant Bundy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filomeno Jerico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. PEPE United's Filomeno Jerico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grant Bundy in the 28th minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alford Yard scored 1-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albert Simpson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernie Butterfield made a kick off. Filomeno Jerico was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Grant Bundy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 55 minute of play. Grant Bundy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filomeno Jerico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marshal Isaac in the 69th minute of the match. Grant Bundy in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Filomeno Jerico, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Clark Yard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th match minute, PEPE United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Miels to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 75 minutes, Grant Bundy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bulahdelah FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grant Bundy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filomeno Jerico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grant Bundy went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Filomeno Jerico didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Bulahdelah FC's Bernie Butterfield shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-5 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 96th minute Bernie Butterfield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Jerico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Bulahdelah FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than PEPE United.
