Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Alford Yard made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3 minutes of play, PEPE United's Alford Yard made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bryden Hitchen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alford Yard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryden Hitchen having to interfere. In the 8th minute Brant Anderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Jerico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PEPE United's Filomeno Jerico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brant Anderson in the 11th minute of play. Alford Yard hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, PEPE United's goalkeeper Filomeno Jerico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Drew Christian. Quincy Dobson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Bryden Hitchen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Lucaston's goal looked a bit too open when Alford Yard came free, but Bryden Hitchen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lucaston's Jemmett Ritter got a free kick in the 28th minute. PEPE United's Alford Yard got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Drew Christian came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Lucaston fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Drew Christian couldn't finish the play. Alford Yard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bryden Hitchen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Drew Christian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Filomeno Jerico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Drew Christian to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Lucaston booed when PEPE United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigel Minteuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alford Yard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Bryden Hitchen made a huge save. In the 57th minute of the match Quincy Dobson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bryden Hitchen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alford Yard's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Bryden Hitchen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. PEPE United's Filomeno Jerico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Drew Christian in the 66th minute of play. Bryden Hitchen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alford Yard's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Bryden Hitchen made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Alford Yard sent off a good shot on target. Quincy Dobson's late challenge caught a Lucaston's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quincy Dobson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, Quincy Dobson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as PEPE United's Quincy Dobson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bryden Hitchen. That made the score 1-2 after 78 minutes of play. In the 86th match minute, Lucaston was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesse Sobezak to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, PEPE United's Quincy Dobson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Lucaston's Brant Anderson got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The PEPE United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
