Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Drew Christian kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stewart Greenbank in the 12th minute of play forced Lucaston's goalkeeper Bryden Hitchen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Rufus Pound's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bryden Hitchen was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Coventry City FC's Jess Fessey was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bryden Hitchen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bryden Hitchen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rufus Pound, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The referee ignored Coventry City FC's protests and gave Broderick Dowling a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had been going on for 41 minutes, Lucaston's Tobie Lyle got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tom Arkinstall. Bryden Hitchen came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Coventry City FC's Stewart Greenbank. But to his dismay, Stewart Greenbank quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. 47 minutes into the match, Lucaston's goal looked a bit too open when Stewart Greenbank came free, but Bryden Hitchen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

In the 51st minute Lawrance Sobczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryden Hitchen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stewart Greenbank in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bryden Hitchen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lucas Mcinnis hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The supporters of Coventry City FC booed when Lucaston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Mcinnis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Coventry City FC's Jeffers Loch got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bryden Hitchen was a little too slow when Stewart Greenbank got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-5. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lucaston's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jess Fessey was slow to take the kick. During this time Coventry City FC's players had a chance to rest. Jess Fessey made a great header on Coventry City FC's corner, it was just that Lucaston's Bryden Hitchen managed to reach the ball for a save. Broderick Twite received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bryden Hitchen came out and tried to block the shot, but Broderick Twite slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 70th minute. Stewart Greenbank could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Bryden Hitchen made a huge save. 81 minutes into the match, Coventry City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tobie Lyle came free, but Tom Arkinstall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bryden Hitchen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rufus Pound, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bryden Hitchen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bryden Hitchen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeffers Loch, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute Browne Boyce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Arkinstall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Coventry City FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
