The referee ignored Burrowye's protests and gave Bernie Butterfield a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Burrowye getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Bernie Butterfield hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Bernie Butterfield notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of OzForce TNT's Jamie Quinane. Jamie Quinane was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Aylwin in the 26th minute of play forced Burrowye's goalkeeper Albert Simpson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grant Bundy in the 28th minute of play forced OzForce TNT's goalkeeper Jamie Quinane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berke Bailey struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Albert Simpson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OzForce TNT. Jamie Quinane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernie Butterfield, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Aylwin charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Aylwin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes OzForce TNT got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Aylwin. In the 38thth minute of the game Grant Bundy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OzForce TNT's Jamie Quinane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jamie Quinane didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clark Yard went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Grant Bundy scored 0-4 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jamie Quinane, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th match minute, Burrowye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marshal Isaac to maneuver through the defense.

Jamie Quinane was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Clark Yard capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Clark Yard really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Norman Fessey charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norman Fessey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Burrowye booed when OzForce TNT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norman Fessey didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Bernie Butterfield reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jamie Quinane. The goal made the score 0-7. OzForce TNT's Jamie Quinane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clark Yard in the 75th minute of play. Clark Yard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Jamie Quinane made a huge save. Jamie Quinane came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Burrowye's Clark Yard. But to his dismay, Clark Yard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marshal Isaac in the 84th minute of play forced OzForce TNT's goalkeeper Jamie Quinane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jamie Quinane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernie Butterfield in the 88th minute of play. Bernie Butterfield who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Jamie Quinane when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
