The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice moves Jonathan Soon could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Karim Ghazi however easily saved by the left post. Shah Braddell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 龚明宁 in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, Woodmancote United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Chong to maneuver through the defense. Mujahid Sim's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Karim Ghazi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 13th match minute, Woodmancote United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noh Vijiaratnam to maneuver through the defense. After 14 played minutes Woodmancote United got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Au. Mujahid Sim received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karim Ghazi came out and tried to block the shot, but Mujahid Sim slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. Karim Ghazi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mujahid Sim in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute 龚明宁 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shah Braddell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute Saltaire were awarded a corner. Leon Logewnik went to the cornerflag to take it. Shah Braddell came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Saltaire's 龚明宁. But to his dismay, 龚明宁 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Merlin Hian hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Woodmancote United's Mujahid Sim slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karim Ghazi. That made the score 2-1 after 40 minutes of play. Jonathan Soon kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Merlin Boon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Shah Braddell. Woodmancote United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mujahid Sim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Karim Ghazi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Soon in the 51st minute of play. Karim Ghazi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mujahid Sim in the 52nd minute of the match. 龚明宁 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Shah Braddell made a huge save. 龚明宁 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Shah Braddell made a huge save. In the 64th minute Aziz Rajah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shah Braddell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noh Vijiaratnam in the 65th minute of play forced Saltaire's goalkeeper Karim Ghazi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Woodmancote United's Daniel Siang was substituted for Mujahid Sim. Karim Ghazi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Soon in the 75th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Saltaire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Logewnik to maneuver through the defense. Leon Logewnik hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Saltaire's zone, Alex Chai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karim Ghazi came out of the goal and Alex Chai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karim Ghazi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Siang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
