Seating: 2496, VIP seats: 216) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mark Chian got the match started through his kick off. Adam Seng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexander Sum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Willig in the 4th minute of play. The throw-in from Bernt Willig in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by NFH Family United's Ang Chew. If Mark Chian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, NFH Family United's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Siong came free, but Alexander Sum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Siong in the 22nd minute of play forced NFH Family United's goalkeeper Alexander Sum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Claudinei Damião got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alexander Sum quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Siong in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Sum saved NFH Family United from getting behind. NFH Family United's Alexander Sum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wen Ke Yan in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Muhammad Chong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wen Ke Yan in the 37th minute of play forced NFH Family United's goalkeeper Alexander Sum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Ang Chew took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Muhammad Chan to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
53 minutes into the match, Stars's Adam Seng sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexander Sum narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexander Sum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Siong, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Wen Ke Yan heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Muhammad Chong hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Alexander Sum made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Wen Ke Yan sent off a good shot on target. Alexander Sum made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wen Ke Yan in the 66th minute. In the 71st minute, Shah Lam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stars's Rudy Chandran was substituted for Adam Seng. In the 72nd match minute, NFH Family United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shah Lam to maneuver through the defense. Alexander Sum made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Wen Ke Yan sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute Jithu Rajah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhammad Chan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Muhammad Chan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Chian in the 83rd minute of the match. Alexander Sum made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Jonathan Siong sent off a good shot on target. 86 minutes into the match, NFH Family United's goalkeeper Alexander Sum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Siong. Rudy Chandran scored 3-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexander Sum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The NFH Family United support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
