The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Hardy Karaeng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Giant fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Giant's Hardy Karaeng got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. I Ketut Sephtianda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hardy Karaeng went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Hardy Karaeng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but I Ketut Sephtianda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After some careless play in the PSS Ratuha defense, Hardy Karaeng kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of I Ketut Sephtianda. The PSS Ratuha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that I Ketut Sephtianda should have stopped the shot. Zainal Sutisna's late challenge caught a Giant's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zainal Sutisna helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, PSS Ratuha's Zainal Sutisna got a free kick in the 18th minute. Yaris Noor charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yaris Noor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yaris Noor hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Hardy Karaeng made a precise shot to the right of I Ketut Sephtianda. PSS Ratuha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. I Ketut Sephtianda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hardy Karaeng in the 31st minute of the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Hardy Karaeng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Giant's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hardy Karaeng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute, Hardy Karaeng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. I Ketut Sephtianda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hardy Karaeng, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 39th minute, Hardy Karaeng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After a defensive mix-up in PSS Ratuha's zone, Hardy Karaeng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. I Ketut Sephtianda came out of the goal and Hardy Karaeng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 44 minutes, Husin Astaman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Giant and the PSS Ratuha players grew even worse after the yellow card. Husin Astaman hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Black Pink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuriana Burnama, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuriana Burnama was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Hardy Karaeng notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of PSS Ratuha's I Ketut Sephtianda. I Ketut Sephtianda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 56 minutes into the match, PSS Ratuha's goal looked a bit too open when Hardy Karaeng came free, but I Ketut Sephtianda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57thth minute of the game Hardy Karaeng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PSS Ratuha's I Ketut Sephtianda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to PSS Ratuha getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Adjat Tecuari hit a great ball. I Ketut Sephtianda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hardy Karaeng in the 59th minute of the match. After some careless play in the PSS Ratuha defense, Hardy Karaeng kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of I Ketut Sephtianda. The PSS Ratuha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that I Ketut Sephtianda should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Giant's Black Pink got control of the ball when Syahril Supardi tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hardy Karaeng in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg I Ketut Sephtianda saved PSS Ratuha from getting behind. I Ketut Sephtianda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hardy Karaeng in the 75th minute of the match. Hardy Karaeng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without I Ketut Sephtianda having to make a save. PSS Ratuha's I Ketut Sephtianda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hardy Karaeng in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute Hardy Karaeng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but I Ketut Sephtianda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hardy Karaeng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Husin Astaman kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Husin Astaman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. I Ketut Sephtianda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Giant players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
