In the 6th minute Bandar Taiban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aesem Khaja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Fuyaira SC booed when Sharjah FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wasel Al Bahar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sharjah FC's Yazeed Dehrab got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aesem Khaja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bandar Taiban, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st match minute, Sharjah FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yazeed Dehrab to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, one of Fuyaira SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fuyaira SC. 31 minutes into the match, Sharjah FC's goal looked a bit too open when Basem Shadad came free, but Bartosz Dembowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aesem Khaja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bandar Taiban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yousef Sarkhoh kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Adem Boften managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fuyaira SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adem Boften was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartosz Dembowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sharjah FC's Bartosz Dembowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basem Shadad in the 38th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Wasel Al Bahar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basem Shadad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Bartosz Dembowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adem Boften struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Bartosz Dembowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fuyaira SC. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adem Boften stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Sharjah FC got a freekick which was hit by Eesa Mandane. Adem Boften struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Bartosz Dembowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fuyaira SC. Yaqoot Al Mosawe kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes Sharjah FC got a freekick which was hit by Shjae Al Sallal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yazeed Dehrab in the 61st minute of play forced Fuyaira SC's goalkeeper Aesem Khaja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basem Shadad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the game, Fuyaira SC's Basem Shadad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bartosz Dembowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Aesem Khaja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wasel Al Bahar went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Fuyaira SC's Basem Shadad got a free kick in the 75th minute. Adem Boften fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartosz Dembowski having to interfere. In the 83rd minute of the match, Ayman Jiragh tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aesem Khaja saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 86th minute, Naji Al Khobaize left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fuyaira SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 88th minute, Shjae Al Sallal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aesem Khaja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayman Jiragh in the 90th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fuyaira SC had won after a very even match.
