The referee ignored Alwahda FC's protests and gave Farooq Al Abdullah a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Farooq Al Abdullah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute Jassem Al Dowaisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patryk Owsiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
