Aguirre Verde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meqdad Taiban in the 13th minute of the match. Aguirre Verde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamdan Al Banai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patryk Owsiak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jürgen Fahlgren in the 23rd minute. Patryk Owsiak made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Jürgen Fahlgren sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ben Carlisle got free with Patryk Owsiak in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the game, Abdul Mohsen Al Saleh cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Patryk Owsiak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patryk Owsiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jürgen Fahlgren in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Farooq Al Abdullah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdul Mohsen Al Saleh was the one to do the kick off.
