Colin Colt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lance Fairfax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ryan Plumber hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Valencia C.F.'s Jerry Lodge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor László in the 31st minute of play. Pompiliu Harbuz got a throw-in 35 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Borys Purzycki. Joe Herring had several of the Carpathia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 42 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Colin Colt as he didn't even see the shot coming. Carpathia's Koos Lemmen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Victorio Lope, made in the 46th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pankracy Gardocki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Carpathia getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Pompiliu Harbuz hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Joe Herring made a precise shot to the right of Colin Colt. Carpathia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Valencia C.F.'s Lance Fairfax got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Valencia C.F. booed when Carpathia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor László didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Joe Herring ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Colin Colt was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Valencia C.F.'s Phil Day was substituted for Quentin Nethercot. Valencia C.F.'s Alessandro Costacurta was substituted for Hugo Guillamon. Colin Colt didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Valencia C.F.'s Joe Herring shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 8-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Colin Colt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joe Herring's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Joe Herring blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Colin Colt having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joe Herring in the 80th minute of play forced Carpathia's goalkeeper Colin Colt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joe Herring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 84 minutes into the match, Carpathia's goal looked a bit too open when Joe Herring came free, but Colin Colt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carpathia's Pompiliu Harbuz suffered a sore foot after 85 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Lance Fairfax's late challenge caught a Carpathia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lance Fairfax helped the player get up and apologised. Lance Fairfax kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Colin Colt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joe Herring's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Valencia C.F.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
