In the 88th minute of the match FC Soldeu got a corner. El Expreso's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luizinho Maldini ran over to the corner to take the kick. Edu de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The El Expreso supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Soldeu's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Soldeu.
